Reminds me of my grandfathers farm in WI.  Had loads of great summer vacations playing in the barn, riding the tractor and learning to milk the cows.

What a wonderful Farm

That is gorgeous! Maryland is a real mixture - we have mountains, the bay, and horse country. Anyway, I showed the most beautiful home in a cute neighborhood the other day and couldn't imagine why the sellers were leaving it. I thought it had to be a transfer. The listing agent said the wife had always wanted to live in an old farm house out in horse country. I can understand that! What a beautiful picture!

Very cool....what happened to wordless?  Seriously though...great photo shot.

Nice, Andrea.  White house, red barn, tall round silo, rolling hills and plentiful hardwodd trees - very differrent from a typical ranch /farm out here in the west!  Around where I live here in Colorado, there seems to be more "horse farm" types with stables and round pens and riding arenas.

Andrea - Great photo.  Is this taken wide angle, or several photos stitched together?

Andrea, great panorama! Reminds me of when I lived in Vermont. Thanks.

The innocent days of America on the farms.  Where did we go wrong?  Oh yeah, corporate interests.

Cindy, Glad I could help to bring back memories! Thank you.

Christine, Thank you. I really love this shot of the farm.

Linda, Maryland is a beautiful place too! Thank you.

Larry, Me? Wordless? LOL, I tried. Thank you.

Mike, Thank you. There is a picture on the top of the silo, I am thinking of doing a study in barn/silo art.

Steve, This was a wide angle, then I cropped it and of course did HDR. Thank you for stopping by!

Michael, well it is New England, LOL, I am in a very Vermonty section of CT I guess. Just dont' tell anyone I said that.

Zane, thank you very much!

Tony, LOL, that must be the answer. Blame the banks actually.

Now that's a panarama.

At this distance it could be WI, IL,  or MI or even parts of OH.  The hillier parts of all.  Actually that farmhouse is very similar to my grandparents (now my uncles's farm)  in Southern WI.

Maureen, I guess it could be anywhere. I love old farms, old houses, love it all. I will do this shot when the trees have some green to them! Thank you for stopping by.

Hi Andrea,  I read your answer about it being taken with a wide angle - please be more specific.  Thanks.
