New Milford CT Weekly Real Estate Market Update May 16th

SINGLE FAMILY HOMES

I am still hearing from agents and seeing for myself an increase in the market. All indicators say we are bottoming out. For anyone looking to buy their first home, there are wonderful mortgage products available, responsible product, that make your home ownership dream a reality. There are currently 285 active single family home listings in New Milford, CT. Lowest price: $104,900, average list price: $486,717, average days on market, 122. Highest price: $6,500,000. Out of these, 22 are under deposit, lowest price $100,00, highest price $550,000. Average list price: $371,373, Average market time: 85 days. (Days on market still coming down!)

There are currently 15 homes that are pending. Lowest price: $179,900, highest price: $545,000. Average list price: $324,333. Average market time: 104 days.

1 home is showing as sold. The home was listed for $629,900, closed at $565.000, was on the market for 41 days.

Condominiums

There are currently 78 active condo listings in New Milford, CT, Lowest price: $69,900. Highest price: $539,900. Average market time, 177 days.

Out of these, 4 are under deposit, same as the last 2 weeks, lowest price $99,900, highest price $169,000. The average list price: $140,950, average market time: 86 days.

There are currently 15 condos that are pending. Lowest price: $62,900, highest price: $400,000. The average list price of these is $163,007. Average market time: 110 days.

No condos are showing as sold for last week.

Sharon, thank you, you too! And yes, it is too bad, but I think things are really showing signs of turning around. That, however, does not mean that homes will bring the prices they once did.
