Litchfield County in Pictures, the Beauty of Connecticut. I went to Sharon, CT today to look at a house, I was really glad someone else was driving so that I could jump out of the car and take these pictures as we wound through beautiful Litchfield County. I visited Sharon, Cornwall, West Cornwall, Kent, New Preston and Washington before winding our trip back up in New Milford. After reviewing the photos I am convinced that this is truly one of the most beautiful spots in Connecticut, a great place to live, either full time or in one of the most amazing country estates that are nestled in this countryside you see below.
Another trip is in order in a few weeks as the leaves are just beginning to show a hint of change. Soon the countryside will be ablaze with the most magnificant colors imaginable.
Please enjoy Litchfield County in Pictures!

Andrea, your photos are just amazingly beautiful. Having beautiful scenery helps.
Hi Andrea-What beautiful scenic pics. Can't wait for the ones with the fall colors. Have a wonderful evening. <SMILE>
I have to agree that area of CT is one of the most beautiful. I have often taken long rides on my Harley along RT 7 and the Housatonic River. Great photos. I love the clock tower.
Andrea I have to agree with you that Sharon CT is just beautiful. Your photos are really awesome, thanks for sharing.
Andrea - Beautiful photos young lady and another feature from another great group ............

Andrea - Now that is a part of CT that I have never visited. Your photos are beautiful....the lake and scenery are spectacular!
Andre, that's a wonderful slide show. We are going on vacation to Rhode Island the end of September and I so hope I get to see some fall color. That is probably the only thing I miss about not having the seasons. Our leaves do fall (in December) but they just turn brown and fall.
Andrea, that is not only one of the most beautiful part of Connecticut, it is also one of the most relaxing areas that I have ever been to.
Hi Andrea ~ That's just mesmerizing. The colors are so beautiful - you just want to drink it all in. Just fabulous.

Hi Andrea!
Very beautiful photos, thanks for sharing them with us all. Hope you have a wonderful week!
Sincerely,
Kathleen
Gorgeous!!!! Is that where you went for your BPO? I am going to call you in the morning, it's too late now. Pacific vs. Atlantic time zones....
Richard, the good news, I had already looked at the house and was on my way home, LOL. But I could have taken oh so many more! Thank you for the feature! Blushing as always.
Pat, why thank you! I think it is beautiful here, sometimes it just takes my breath away!
Sharon, I will admit, fall is my favorite time of year, I am anxiously awaiting all the photo opps I will have! Thank you.
Jim, so, you are one of those Rt. 7 bikers huh? Interesting... I love the clock tower too, it is such a surprise to see it up there!
Jennifer, it really is. No wonder why it is a favorite for those who want that country estate!
VB, you are too generous! Thank you!
Hannah, I am sorry to hear about your allergies, you can enjoy fall through a lens!
Donna, you haven't been there huh? Well, perhaps a visit this fall!
Marchel, thank you! I would miss fall, it is my favorite!
George, I have to agree with you. I love it, and feel blessed to be here! Especially blessed to have the camera, LOL.
Liz, and just wait a few more weeks! Thank you!
Kathleen, thank you! And I hope you have a wonderful week too!

Beautiful photos, Andrea. Blue skies are SO inspirational. I'm sure your color season is going to be spectacular.
Caren, isn't that clock tower wonderful? Thank you.
Teri, thank you so much!
Carol, yes indeed. And it was a good thing I took that trip in the earlier part of the day as the afternoon was NO fun... LOL. So it helped when I looked at where I was.
aHi Andrea: I can't wait to read your blog in another month with all the colors.
:)
Andrea, it is like I am on a tour everytime I read your post, they are so beautiful.
The clock tower and the covered bridge are my favorites - but all of them make it clear that you live in beautiful country!!
Hi Matt, I am looking forward to those pictures myself, LOL. Thank you!
Rita, how kind of you. I just love taking pictures, and a good camera helps. Next I hope to get a better lens for the camera, then look out! Thank you!
Nancy, thank you. I love the clock tower too, it is just so unexpected. And yes, I do live in a beautiful place, but I think there are beautiful places all over!
Andrea - Okay I am a big fan of the fall season in all its blazing glory, but it seems like we have only had about 4 weeks of summer. These are beautiful photos and I like the color GREEN best of all.
Hi Judy, LOL, well, fall is my favorite time of year, so I won't complain. The heat and I don't agree with each other, so I thought, other than all the rain, it was a fine summer! I am glad you like the photos though, thank you!
"Your very welcome young lady"
Surely you DID NOT jump out of the car while someone else was driving. That sounds incredible dangerous. LOL Nonetheless, I'm glad you got the pictures to share with us, and I hope you're okay.
