Skies over New Milford, CT. I was out with my camera this morning at sunrise, and made it home just in time to catch the "corn moon" tonight. What a beautiful way to start and end the day! I didn't have time to locate the tripod for the moon shot, so it may not be as clear as I would like it to be, but you get the "picture"! I hope you enjoy them.
A sunrise reflection on the silo, sunrise over the corn field, sunrise over the hay field, and lastly, the corn moon rises over the barn.
These were the skies over New Milford, CT today!

Andrea, Thanks for sharing as you would never see me out at sunrise with my camera. I caught a few good sunrises last week as I got up to let my Kitty alarm out and I thought about getting my camera but the bed won.

Marchel, there is a 95 pound alarm clock here, first breakfast no later than 6, then a walk after or else we will all be sorry. Somehow he just never decided sleeping in was a good thing. His stomach won out over all of my desires to do nothing! You are quite welcome! Thank you.

For anyone interested, it was common to name full moons, if you check out Wikipedia there is a table with the names by month, and more! I love it!
Hi Andrea - Cool shots. Once again, you captured those perfect colors. No Corn Moon for us today. Just 35 mph winds blowing huge breakers onto the beach. I kinda' like it.

A corn moon? I've never heard of such. Nonetheless the pictures were gorgeous, as were the bee pictures in your other post, too, although I forgot to say that over there.
