Speechless Sunday, of things to come

Fall is my favorite time of year, and here is a promise of things to come! I am dusting off the camera and I have plans to take a few trips around of the beautiful scenery this part of Connecticut has to offer during the next month or so. How lucky am I? I have leaves a-changing, cows all around, beautiful weather and a great camera to capture the scenery. And lest I not forget, wonderful friends to share it all with! This particular photo was taken standing in my driveway in New Milford, CT!

Early fall in CT

Hello Andrea-I love the pic. So nice to have that view from your driveway. Very beautiful just like you my friend. I hope you are doing better and your blogynigitis is gone and you are feeling back up to snuff. Have a wonderful week. <SMILE>

Andrea,

Fall is a great time of year, spring is my favorite but harvest is great!  I love apple pickin' and pumpkin pickin' too but there isn't too much of that in Florida.  That is one of my few regrets of moving to Florida but on the positive side I haven't shoveled a drop of snow in the past 5 years.

Hi Al & Peggy, you inspired me to post this! And thank you so much, I hope to do a good job at the Ambassador Program.

Barbara, I would have a hard time without fall. You just have to take the good with the bad up here, LOL. Thank you! And stay tuned, I am sure there will be many more.

Andrea, We leave Thursday for our vacation flying in to Boston and then on to Newport Rhode Island.  I so hope we get to see some fall color.  I remember a radio commentator once saying that we have two seasons in Houston; summer and January.  I love our summer season but I sure miss that fall color.  I hope I get to see some!!!

Marchel, perhaps in Rhode Island, you should see hints of color all over though. And they say this year will be fantabulous with all the rain we had. Have a great trip!!!!

Andrea, oh the beginning of the fall colors.  We have been hearing the song of the acorns on our roof.  Last year we didn't have any.  Soon the leaves will start to change.

Autumn was once my favorite season.  I think it's the colors, the harvest, the leaves.  But, I'm also a swimmer, and feel a little depressed by the fact that the sun won't be on my back as much, when I'm swimming laps.  I love Spring, and Summer most.  Winters seem to get longer and drearier each year.

What is that orange tree across the street? I like it. Your area might be a little too rural for me, though. Where's the closest shopping mall? LOL

Thank you to everyone! I am in a bit of a hurry this morning and will be back, however... I have to respond to one of you now, LOLOL.

Jim, uh... the tree across the street is a maple, LOL, changing colors with FALL!!! :D And the closest mall? About 35 minutes from me. But I am not a mall type of gal.

Here is what I always say, if it ain't at Walmart you don't need it... And that is why I love shopping on the internet!
