Sunrise Over New Milford CT, Friday Fall Fotos!

Sunrise over New Milford, CT. The past two mornings I grabbed  my camera and took a walk with the pooch. The sunrises were wonderful! Yesterday the sun coming up lit the trees across the street, what a display. This morning the red skies were just breathtaking! I just love fall in New England.

Please enjoy my slide show of my sunrises over New Milford, CT, Friday's Fall Fotos!

Gorgeous!  Nothing like the first colors of fall making their appearance.  I love autumn, it is my favorite season by far!  Thanks for sharing these beautiful shots!

Good morning Jeani, Autumn is my favorite season too. You are very welcome!

Janice, yes, already the colors are starting, it promises to be a spectacular show this year yet again. And thank you!

Lori, as you should know, we are the lucky ones, aren't we? Thank you!

Good morning Al & Peggy, I am up early every morning as that Duncan insists that breakfast time is 6 am sharp, no matter what. Now that he is feeling better he is a handful, LOL. Thank you!

Hi Deb, I have some very fond memories of Medford growing up, I lived in Winchester and had family in Medford. Also a beautiful place to be sure. Thank you!

Fabulous pictures.  It makes me pine away for the old days when I use to have a window in my office.  I want to go outside and take a walk right now!

Andrea...

We are on the cusp of autumn, and I just love it when the colors start to magically appear! Great photos, I need to take some early morning walks too!

Hello Carol, I so appreciate your sentiments, thank you!

Dan, what? No window? I sit right next to a picture window, I have the traffic view for one, but trees across the street, then the backside of the building overlooks a golf course. Poor you! Here is MY view... (pay no attention to all the toys I seem to have collected along the window ledge)

The view from my desk

Richard, it is just starting here too, and it promises to be amazing! I have to admit my walk is short in the morning, I walk up the top of the driveway, Duncan runs in the cow pasture and does his thing, I do mine with the camera, no effort at all, LOL. Thank you!

Rita, the dog insists, LOL. If not,  he will start barking, then getting pretty obnoxious. He is, after all, feeling much better! Thank you!

Andrea the shots are beautiful, but the changing of colors is a little sobering, more work ahead. I pleasantly watched the sun come up on a fairway mower ;o)

Oh Andrea, I LOVE Connecticut in the fall! It really makes me miss home. Our leaves in MD are starting to change, but I'm from West Hartford, and at the Reservoir, when you hike up the mountain, the sea of gorgeous colors is unmatchable!!! THANK YOU for sharing your slide show. Feels like home! :-)

Posted by Marney Kirk, Towson, Maryland Real Estate (Cummings & Co. Realtors) almost 10 years ago

Ahh, I remember those colors when I lived right across the pond from you.

Now that I'm down here, I'll have to wait another month or two!

But thanks for the reminder of how beautiful it is there this time of year!

Posted by Craig Rutman, Raleigh, Cary, Apex area Realtor (Helping people in transition) almost 10 years ago

Hi Ed, well, aren't you the lucky one! I just love this time of year.

Marney, glad I could help bring back some memories. West Hartford is beautiful enough, but I live in the BEST part of CT, LOL. Thank you!

Craig, I will wait to see YOUR photos! It is beautiful here ANY time of year! :P

Nice, nice pictures - Andrea!  I think Fall arrives in your area a tad earlier than it does in Sacramento.  However, I expect our leaves to begin turning in a week or so.

Absolutely beautiful!  I just love the sunrise, just not being awake that early...LOL

Andrea, those were beautiful pictures, thanks for posting them, because the only thing that I see at sunrise is the inside of my eye lids :) :)

Hello Hannah, you will be soon I am sure. Thank you!

Matt, well thank you! You are seeing just the same I know. :D

Good morning John, I thank you! I love this time of year, I did not have this wonderful camera last year, and am excited about the photo ops that are coming up, LOL.

Liz, LOL, I had to take a picture that did NOT include my messy desk, LOL. And thank you, I know you are seeing beautiful fall foliage too!

Jim, LOL, put those girls to work, what can I say. We have a sweeper that pulls behind the tractor. Thank you!

Karen, come on over! I expect more photos, so look for them. Thank you!

Myrl, we are a bit early this year, but not in full color mode yet, so there are a few weeks to come. I love love love fall! Thank you!

Kathleen, I am an early riser, I have always loved the quiet of the morning. I can also be a late nite person, but because I can't sleep in, it really doesn't work, LOL. Thank you!

George, LOL, as I always say, I was checking my eyelids for holes! Thank you so much, I expect to see some from you too!

Steve, thank you so much! Nature is hard to beat for sure, I am always blown away even with the scenes I see over and over again.

Andrea, these are such beautiful photos!  I never get up in time to shoot the sunrise.  I guess that's a good thing about having cows!

Posted by Patricia Kennedy, Home in the Capital (RLAH Real Estate) almost 10 years ago

Beautiful shots Andrea!  You have amazing sunrise-sunsets over there.

Pat, it is the dog who gets me up, LOL. The cows are not here, well, there are cows here but they belong to someone else. Very confusing. So just suffice it to say, it is all Duncans fault.

Debra, thank you! I am blessed, the sunrises and sunsets are spectacular from here.

Steve, Why thank you! I hope to get more, but not for the next few days as we have rain in the forecast.

Posted by Andrea Swiedler, Realtor, Southern Litchfield County CT (Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England Properties) almost 10 years ago

Those are quite beautiful! And every morning? I'm never up early enough to see sunrises. We have our best sunsets after wildfires. Why there has to be destruction followed by beauty has never made sense to me.
