Fall Festival and Car Show at Harrybrooke Park in New Milford, CT

Harrybrooke Park will host a car show and fall festival Saturday, October 10th from 9 am - 5pm. This event is sponsored by the New Milford Lions Club.

The car show is open to all years, makes and models.

Scarecrow contest is open to all ages. Your scarecrow must be between 4-7 feet and free standing. Bring your scarecrow to the park on Friday, October 9th between 9 am - 5pm in order to be in the contest. Prudential Adams has a realtor scarecrow, we sure had fun making him! Come and see!

There is an apple or pumpkin pie baking contest. Pies will be judged on appearance, flavor and texture. Pies must be brought to the park on Friday, October 9th between 9 am - 5pm or by 10 am on Saturday, October 10th.

There are plenty of games, food, dance, karate and gymnastic performances, a 1931 Model A Roadster Raffle (great car for a realtor, don't you think?), bingo, an estate sale, magic show, hot wings eating contest, jaws of life demo and much much more. This promises to be a good old fashioned festival! And with the leaves changing, the crisp fall weather, I am sure it will be a wonderful event for all ages.

The New Milford Lions Club has put together this first annual Fall Festival and Car Show to raise money for Harrybrooke Park. The park is not owned by the town of New Milford, and over the years it has become very costly to maintain the park for the board of directors of Harrybrooke Park. Please show your support and help keep this wonderful park in shape for the residents of New Milford. All money raised at the festival will be split 50-50 between the Lions Club and Harrybrooke Park.

Harrybrooke Park is located at 64 Lanesville Road in New Milford, CT.

The Greater New Milford Board of RealtorsĀ® is assisting The Lions Club at the festival. I hope to see you there!

Both the car show and the scarecrow contest sound like fun fall events.

Hi Andrea, if you go to the car show get some pictures of any of the 1931 Fords so we can compare them to the ones we got at the Orillia Car Show last Summer.
