Hi Andrea - Sorry, I can't make it...even though you're giving me a nine day notice. Nice pics!
Kent, LOL, 9 days is more than enough time. Even if we import some snow for you???? Thank you!
Andrea - You certainly have provided a wonderful glimpse into holiday life in your part of the world. It really seems that Connecticut is a Norman Rockwell type of environment!
Myrl, well, it is, LOL. Thank you! Actually, there is a house here in New Milford that inspired the movie Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House. It was for sale a few years ago, I got to see it then.
Washington is a beautiful town, with a population under 4000, beautiful estates and homes, wonderful places to hike, shop, walk, whatever you like. A quiet New England lifestyle which I do happen to love! Thank you.
Andrea...
That looks like a wonderful holiday event. I wish that I could attend.
Richard, if you came to this event I would PROMISE you a seat up front with the driver!
Andrea - I have never been to Washington CT. This looks like a wonderful holiday event and a horse drawn hay ride topped off with a nice hot cup of apple cider sounds just wonderful to me.
Andrea, this sounds like something right out of Doc Hollywood! Hay rides are such a great touch.
This looks like so much fun... I wish I was a closer... I certainly would plan to attend.
Donna, Washington is beautiful! It is a lot of fun, I am hoping to attend with my camera, LOL.
Pat, hayrides are popular here! It should be great.
Joan, I bet you have some of the same in New Hampshire!
Don't you just love all the pagentry that the holiday season provides us?
Looking forward to more from you Andrea!
Craig, I really do! This weekend a most spectacular display will open, or so the rumor mill has it. There is no information readily available on it. But I have my camera ready to go at a moments notice! I love it for sure.
I just love the photos of your Christmas-y town, Andrea! What a lovely place you are able to enjoy!
