Snow in New Milford, CT, the "S" word finially strikes! Yes, the weather persons (PC) were correct and New Milford, CT got snow. I didn't think it was going to be much, the first prediction looked like it was a big bust yet again. I was planning on heading to the office this afternoon, after all, schools were only on a 90 minute delay and the roads were clear. Until 9 am that is. Then the snow started and was, I hate to admit, beautiful!
I love to take pictures of snow, I couldn't drive anywhere so I walked around and took some photos around the farm. You know me and old barns, fences and silo's. And with the backdrop of falling snow I was certainly happy with the results! And of course, our bucket loader driver. He knows his John Deere's, and we all know that nuthin runs like a Deere! That driveway has to be plowed you know!

Andrea,
Those are some great shots! Thank you for sharing your snow with me!

Andrea I have been shoveling snow all day and night long, we must be up to 10 to 12 inches.
Andrea I agree, snow makes a great subject. I like it best when my face is pressed against the window looking out at the beautiful scenery.
Hi Andrea ~ Beautiful photos! I love old barns and you got some great shots.
It's really been something - Michael Bergin had photos of snow in Virginia - deep snow - on his blog and here we were in New England with no snow to speak of. But we too got ours today. I've still got a lot of shoveling to do in the morning so I can get to the office for tour. You're right though - it was very pretty - the wet snow here stuck to all the branches.

Hi Andrea, These are wonderful photos and the stuff that memories are made out of. Enjoyed this very much.
Andrea, I love seeing the snow in pictures and your pictures are lovely. I DO NOT MISS THE SNOW THOUGH!
Andrea,
I love your pictures, I really do. Enjoyed your blog and slide show. Not that I have nostalgia for snow, but it was nice looking at it (LOL)
A-h-h-h the "S" word. We have had more of the white stuff this year than the past 5 years combined. Nice to look at, but will be looking forward towards warmer weather...
Helping you help others live their American dream...
Ann, thank you. I was hesitant to post them, LOL.
George, we have so much wind up here where I live it is hard to say how much there is. But also helps with the whole shoveling the walkway thing, LOL. Blows right off!
Jennifer, hard to take photos from inside, so I braved the storm!
Liz, I just love old barns, fences and silos. Any old farm thing actually. It is pretty, and it is warmer now that we had that storm!
William, thank you so much!
Marchel, don't miss it? I wonder why that is, LOL. Thank you.
Jon, on my first trip to Russia and Ukraine I went in December. (no choice) It snowed the ENTIRE time I was there, not always heavy, but it was amazing. Driving between Moscow and Obninsk was a real treat, the cars just followed the ruts in the road. But really, for 2 weeks it was constant snow, I had really had enough by the time I left. And I left my hat at home in the US!
Michael, I am looking forward to spring, and all the wonderful photos I will get, LOL.
Andrea, the pics are beautiful, but honestly, I am ready for Spring, warm, sunshine, ahh....Who is that cute little boy, he could be the snow baby.
Wonderful photos, Andrea! A very nostalgic look about them :) I love the lone tree and fence shot.

Lovely shots, Andrea, and I especially love the one of your dog. I gave us snow many years ago to be by the beach although our high today will be 60 so they say.
Those are some really great pictures my friend. We had some snow last weekend, but it only lasted over night and was gone.
Andrea,
The snow is great but the dog and the little one are too cute!
