How interesting that there's a CHOICE of high schools in Sherman!  Nice post, Andrea.  I enjoyed your photo album.

Hi Andrea, another of the quaint towns of Litchfield county. It is a very scenic area, but it lacks something to make it special for you, cows.

Andrea, what a cute little town! It is so heartwarming to see a preserved old town!

Hi Andrea ~ Oh my goodness - what a charming town! Fabulous slideshow. I particularly love the library - cut out shutters do something for me - instant charm.

Margaret, isn't that different? Thank you!

Dorie, why thank you. I do love Sherman, it is very quaint and picturesque!

Ed, your comment made me go back and look, I had a farm that was supposed to be in the slide show with cows... LOL, I fixed that. How could i?

Caren, Sherman is just wonderful, you just step back in time as you drive through the main road.

Diane, it really is. The people who live there are very dedicated to the town, it is evident in the local activities.

Kevin, thank you! I appreciate your compliment.

Liz, isn't the library great? I couldn't resist that shot. And, FYI, I had hurt my neck and can't turn to the right or look down very well. I tripped over a curb yesterday when walking over to the library and went flying. Glad I saved the camera, but not my dignity. And 2 seconds later the state trooper went by and waved. At least no one saw me. All for a great shot of a beautiful old building!

Andrea - I so enjoy seeing the space between the structures in your area.  Your slide show provides a great idea of what your community is like!  You live in a Norman Rockwell environment - there's no question about that!

Wonderful presentation. What an interesting feel. The photos are sunny, and the grass is green, but the trees are bare, and they have that cold feel, when the air is crisp and you see clear and everything is razor sharp in the cold air.

Ed, LOL, now that is a great poem if you ask me!

Craig, isn't it easy? I love Picasa, thank you!

Caron, thank you. Sherman really is a wonderful little gem.

George, it is worth the trip, don't you think? And can you imagine that Ed is singing to me? I am tickled pink!

Myrl, it does look like that, I have to say. I agree, I think where I live is spectacular! Thank you!

Jon, thank you! I took those photos on Easter Sunday, it was a very warm day. We had the floods here, heaven opened up and dumped so much water on us, the grass is just green as green can be! Our trees are beginning to leaf out, and the early flowers are up. I love this time of year!

Bubba, why thank you! I do appreciate it.

Rob, isn't it wonderful? Sherman really is a great town. And the people who live there are fiercely loyal to the town.
