Edwin Kinkade Concert on the Green Series, New Milford CT Village Green Fun!

New Milford CT BandstandAre you looking for something to do on those warm August Saturday nights? Look no more, the New Milford CT Concert on the Green Series is BACK! And it is FREE! The concerts begin at 7:30 pm at the Village Bandstand. Bring a chair, bring a blanket, bring a picnic, come and enjoy!

The first Saturday of the month was a smashing success with The Kerry Boys, Connecticit Irish Balladeers. 

This Saturday, August 14th is Roger Young's Housatonic River Dixieland Jazz Band. (sponsored by Marandola Fuel Services, LLC).

Saturday, August 21st is traditional American folk music and dance by Atwater-Donnelly.

The final program on tap for Saturday, August 28th will be Woods Tea Company, a blend of Celtic, novelty, American Folk and French-Canadian songs.

So bring your family and friends, bring a blanket and chair, expect a good time and enjoy the Edwin Kinkade Concert on the Green Series in New Milford, CT! All concerts begin at 7:30 pm at the Village Bandstand. See you there!

Andrea:  This sounds like such a wonderful event... very relaxing.  Good music, and on a smaller scale than many of the huge venues some of the other cities have.  I much prefer this.  (What a great Localism post.)

Hey, doncha think this would be a great time for you to either dust off your video camera, or get one if you don't have one, and film a clip of some of these musical presentations.  What great posts they would make.  Maybe then you could even sing along with them.  <smile>  The Woods Tea Company sounds like it will be a great concert.
