I can't imagine those old restored homes around a lake... I bet it's just beautiful. Our lake and the homes around it is "newer"

Anna Banana, Lake Waramaug is spectacular, in a way it is like stepping back in time, with all the modern conveniences.

Tammy, I love taking a drive around the lake, looking at the homes. A few years ago they did a house tour at Christmas, oh it was so spectacular. I really think it is the most beautiful place around here... ok, the most beautiful lake. I do love living here.

Andrea: Lake Waramaug and the lakefront properties sound fabulous, and close close to New York City. Great to live at or for a weekend retreat.

Andrea, I have always wanted a house on a lake, and this would be a great lake to own one on.

Andrea: I can hear the rowers in the water, and the sizzle of the steaks on the grill. So close to the hustle and bustle of the city, but so far away! wonderful post!
