What a lunch! The American Pie Company, Inc. in Sherman, CT

The American Pie Company, Sherman CTWhen was the last time you went to The American Pie Company, Inc. in Sherman, CT? If it has been a while, or if you have never gone, you should put it on your to-do list right away!

Lucky me, what a job I have! I called one of my business partners today (Liddy) and asked if she wanted to accompany me to Sherman to shoot some pictures for our website and blog. And of course I wanted to eat at The American Pie Company while we were there, but only so I would have something to write about! She agreed, for the team and all. (Rough job, don't you think? Just don't tell Rich that we had a working lunch!)

We sat outside amid the flowers and perused the menu. It was salad for both of us, Liddy had a Thai Chicken Salad with peanut dressing, I had the Sante Fe Salad complete with tortilla croutons and a creamy cilantro dressing. As we were ordering, we saw an order of onion rings go by. Since we were "working", and we really should try as much as possible, we decided to order the onion rings too. A sacrifice I know, but we will do anything for our work.
Lunch at The American Pie in Sherman CTThe salads were OUTSTANDING. The onion rings were done to perfection. I should have made a video so you could hear the crunch. The only problem we encountered was the fact we were too full to try any of the deserts. (Who goes to The American Pie Company, Inc. without trying one of their fantastic deserts? We will HAVE to go back, for research purposes only.)

The American Pie Company, Inc. is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their summer hours are as follows:

Monday, from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
Tuesday thru Sunday, 7:00 am to 9:00 pm

The menu is fantastic, check out The American Pie Company, Inc. online for their mouthwatering menus and their specials.

American Pie Company, Inc. does catering and special bakery orders. I have had a few of their catered lunches and they are out of this world!

A side note, save room for desert. Or be prepared to go back for a second trip. All bakery items are made on the premises, as well as their breads.

And might I suggest that you wear pants with an elastic waistband? Just sayin..

Working lunch? Don't tell Rich? I think I'm beginning to understand how this partnership thing works......"Oh Rich, will you please go take some pictures, and get them uploaded by the end of the day? We're going to lunch, er, I mean a septic inspection..."
