Flying High

flying high in Bridgewater CT

There are just some things in life that stop your heart for a beat or two and this was one of them. I saw these guys from MOB FMX at the Bridgewater Country Fair this past weekend. I can tell you one thing that kept running through my mind was... OMG, their poor mothers!

But they are indeed flying high in life, and there is a lot to be said for that!

Just remember this, Andrea Swiedler that it is not the fall that kills; it's that sudden stop!

Andrea Swiedler  My Mother would never let me ride a bike as she saw a horrid accident . I did have more fun riding more dangerously on the handle bars Great shot

Hi Andrea - There's a couple of places here where those young lunatics ride and it's always fun to stop for a few minutes and watch - young bones heal quickly.

Gorgeous action photo.  My son did a bit of that when young - and then a friend of his hurt himself and had to have his spleen removed.  That was that.

Andrea ... imagine if they learned all of that "possibility" .... from their mothers!  Beautiful picture and wonderful of you to share.

Wow, that is quite a stunt, captured beautifully. Yeah, it would be hard to be the parent...I wonder if you ever get used to seeing your childe do this kind of stuff, whether on a bike or skiis?!

Oh my gosh - YES!  Their poor mothers!!  I totally agree - I think I would have a heart attack if either of my boys participated in that sport!  One of them is a mountain climber and I have a very difficult time with that!
