Spring has arrived! The trees have a tinge of color to them where the buds are just starting to come out. The grass is turning green, you can smell spring in the air, finally. Good time to go out and work on the yard, or take a walk. Today I went to Bulls Bridge to take some pictures. It was sweatshirt weather, almost jacket weather too, but walking along the trails at a brisk pace helped. I only wish you could hear the thunder of the water as it rushed on by!
Take a trip over the covered bridge and walk on the trails. The Appalachian Trail wanders through here, so if the weathers right and you are heading south, Georgia is not out of the question! OK, so it is for me, however the trails are great to hike. Pack a lunch! There is also a canoe launch for those who prefer that mode of transportation. Whatever you decide to do, the magnificence of the Housatonic River as it races by is a sight to behold.
I used my Pentax K200d for these shots. These shots are HDR, which the camera does and is a bit different than most. Please enjoy!

Andrea - Great photos. I love covered bridges. We used to go to Vermont when my kids were young and my brother who lives there used to take us to see them.
Rosalinda, thank you. I am going back when the leaves are out, will be much better. I just couldn't wait!
